Not an army, but there are people

There are currently a little over 150 players I'd suspect maybe a bit more.. On your news page you can see how many are online at any given time.

That's a huge boost from the last couple of years so that's good.

That is nothing shocking.
It took me 4 eras of being gang-banged, back stabbed and attacked from all possible sides, before I joined a kingdom that accepted me. Game and people are not too friendly to new people. But good thing is that you learn the game better that way, when you are in bad situation, if you can make the best of it, later you will be a decent player.

Also, concerning the number of online players... Does it matter that some people have 3 characters, and if they log to every character, would that mean 3 players online even though its just one character? And guides and sponsor accounts can have unlimited amount, so one guide can be playing 10 characters and be online on all within 5 minutes, checking every character.

Im Currently Halfling I know how she feels Im sure Ill have a few cloud 9 armies on my ass soon enough.

Don't forget that VU has players from all timezones, and it almost never drops under 100 players online at any given time of day. Can't be accurate on this but I would say there's 200 near 300 active players (maybe even more).

Actually just past midday my time it isn't uncommon for only 50 players to be on at a time.

I wouldn't say there is anything over 200 "active" players to be honest. My bet would be around 150 active players.

<Cloud 9 are also attacking my mother on Midgard, her second time not playing along side me, she's just learning now but whenever she tries on her own the big kingdoms take her out since she always plays halfling she rises the ranks pretty fast and as soon as she's big enough they attack her.>

vu was always an acquired taste. There have been tons of new players over the years but only those who stick through it stay around:P

it is quite hard to be a new player in this game. i was one once, i still play like one though. its a problem this game has never been able to sort out without losing the top players. if we had a bunch of new players on the lower worlds and guides that taught well it might be different. but they let people like me and asaruc teach people....and i'm not a guide (i dont think) but i have too much xp for the worl i am on, i couldnt even start on a higher world though :-(   ........i mean with my latha character

I would not put it over 150 players, and of that 50-75 are your casual not that active but still long on for a tick or two type players. 

There is no such thing as war activity anymore, where you'd have people waking up at all odd hours of the night and morning to make a move or take a city or something. That is sadly only memories now. 

All that's left is regular activity, casual activity, and rare activity (people logging every other day etc)  

You are one of the few poly, I don't even  actually find myself having to use bts strategically anymore. :p

Belphus and Wootoh of Cloud 9 are NOOB SMASHERS!!! Yes they do accept some new players into their KD but they don't care. Poly, what was your mothers character name on Midgard? And Mr. Ipointbreak I will join your cause!!!

Yeah, it's alright I tried to tell her to be more prepared but she got too focused on building lol.  I wanted her to have some experience without my help so she could get better.  And every time she goes somewhere solo a big kingdom kills her lol.  

Hmm I was watching a bit, the guy that screwed her had come into her with 3k naz and she couldnt do anything to it lol

Being a player that got killed 4 times by large kingdoms when I first started, I might be interested in joining such kingdom when you decide to make it.

These Guys have a distinct advantage so the more the merrier > eventually we will make them crack but we need Numbers.
